Growing
Astragalus grows abundantly on grassy hills and thickets. Native to the North and Eastern regions of China, Mongolia and Korea. It prefers sandy and well-drained soil, which is exposed to plenty of sunlight in nitrogen poor soil. Autumn is usually when the roots of a four-year-old plant will be harvested.
Cautions
Not recommended to be used during acute infection.
